Ron McCombe Associates Limited worked in conjunction with Peter Scott Planning Services of Edinburgh to produce the Sefton Coast Access Strategy. The main objective was to re-visit the Sefton Coastal Way and improve the access for all. Improving access for Cycleway, Bridleway, foot-way by integrating local and national bridleways, Pennine Bridleway, cycleways (NCN National Cycle Network, Leeds-Liverpool Canal Tow Path) and long distance footpaths.(Trans Pennine Trail, Cheshire Lines Path and the North West coastal Trail, which provides an essential link between Sefton and the Ribble Estuary Regional Park, Mersey Waterfront Way, The clear benefits are there for the local community, The Noirth West Of England and Nationally.
