RMA caried out the survey work and researched the historical content for the 46 mile circular walk around the very beautiful Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB)which starts and finishes in Clitheroe.
The work was carried out for Dave Padley of the Lancashire Countryside Service (01772 264709). The walk has proven very successful and a second print of the extensive walk pack has just been released (July 2003)

The walk travels along the lower slopes of Pendle Hill and continues along the rivers Ribble and Hodder passing through some of the most beautiful scenery in the North of England.

The survey included full condition of the footpath surface, condition and photographs of all countryside furniture, landowner details and access details.
